Instructional Design Projects
Programs Used: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Alchemer (survey), Articulate Rise, Vyond, and Zoom
Problem: My focus is on Employee Development for the Hospital System of 30,000 caregivers across 12 counties and 11 medical centers. The Focus of this programming is skills-based development.
Solution: There are a variety of solutions that I utilized to improve Caregiver's skills, including ILT, VILT, eLearning, and individual tool creation.
Programs Used: Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe XD, and Articulate
Problem: Many professors are not taught how to handle classroom issues, such as harassment or other negative student behaviors. They also do not always have time to attend training courses that take hours or days.
Solution: Created a series of microlearning eLearning courses to help professors with their classroom management.
Programs Used: Microsoft PowerPoint
Problem: UAMS' Department of Biomedical Informatics was starting an entirely new graduate program for the Medical School and did not know how to go about creating an entire program or courses from scratch.
Solution: Created a slide deck to take them through a backward design curriculum design process that they can use to create programs and courses from start to finish.
Result: The Department went from no program to an active Graduate level program with 4 active strands using the method I walked them through.

Problem: Silver Fox is a small, woman-owned business that was having issues keeping customers and drawing new customers into the shop.
Solution: Created a Sales and Customer Service Training Video and took the group through role plays to improve their sales and customer service.

Problem: Greening the CLE, a nonprofit that turns vacant lots into green spaces in the city of Cleveland needed a mobile app and responsive website to make their organization more accessible to those interested in volunteering, donating, and purchasing merchandise to support the organizations mission.
Solution: Created both a mobile app and responsive website for the organization.
Programs Used: Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe XD, Figma
Problem: College bound students need a way to keep track of their college preparation and research colleges.
Solution: The "You are the Missing Piece" mobile app was designed to meet those needs.
